Alex Alvarez is a renaissance man who dabbles in skating, fashion, music, and honestly anything that he puts his mind to. The twenty-something year old is currently the owner of a clothing brand known as Wasted Thread, showcasing unique designs that reinforce his brand identity. As of recently, he began releasing music under the flippant moniker ALEXSUCKS and his unpolished style is captivating. On his debut EP ANGSTY TEEN, Alex is vulnerable and is able to establish a unique identity through only three tracks.
The three tracks on the EP, “ANGSTY TEEN”, “BAD”, AND “I DON’T CARE ANYMORE” characterize the brokenness that makes Alex such a unique person and artist. While each track flaunts impressive lyricism, when it comes down to it ALEXSUCKS is a full on rockstar. This is apparent through his carelessly confident voice and heavy drums that set the tone in each of his three songs.
Not only is ALEXSUCKS a must see act, he is an artist that could gain a cult following like no other. It is hard to foresee what his next project will look like, or when it will drop but we will be waiting impatiently. Give ANGSTY TEEN a listen now.
