The 36-year old indie folk artist presents us with a simple and soothing EP in Pieces, released just yesterday. The project contains four songs and spans just over 13 minutes, as the English artist conveys emotion through a hopeful lens. Each track utilizes soft melodies, making for a great listen on any rainy day or when you simply need to relax. Cunningham has a voice that is able to flow with his simplistic sounds effectively, and a feature from fellow Brit, Sophie Jamieson, strengthens the single “Climb”. This EP is also a reflection of the indie singer/songwriters sleek and nature filled Instagram page, which features beautiful shots of a variety of landscapes.

Prior to this release, Cunningham has released two studio albums, Lines (2017) and Permanent Way (2019), as well as a few other EPs early in his career. I encourage you to take a listen to the folk artist because I have been surprised how much I have enjoyed his releases.
