Felix Snow Drops "Thing Like That", Third Single of 2020

Hip-Hip and electronic producer Felix Snow has released three singles in 2020, with the latest being unveiled May 1st. In late February, Snow dropped the upbeat single "rightwing x" that revolves around his signature electro-glitch pop production style, making for a fun and icy song to let us know that he has returned. Then in early April, the producer teamed up with Atlanta rapper Paper Lovee and dropped the catchy hip-hop single "VVS". This hot track enables the young rapper to showcase his vocals and it depicts Snow's continued success in producing hip-hop.
Although both of these tracks were great, it was the most recent release "Thing Like That" which really snatched my attention and reminded me why I have always enjoyed listening to the 28-year old producer. This single is subtle and chill, but also captivating and I have not been able to stop listening. It features vocals from Cards who is smooth throughout and seems to have the perfect voice for what Snow wants to offer. The greatest strength of this song may be it's minimality, making it feel both mysterious and emotional at the same time.
Over the years the producer has had some major success working with big names such as SZA, Katy Perry, Kiiara, Lil Uzi Vert, and others, although he remains a low-key profile. Watch for Felix Snow to make a major impact on music in the future, as he continues to create absolute bops and grow as a producer.
