The Oceania music scene is exploding with young stars in Benee, Cosmo’s Midnight, Ruel, and many others thriving. Golden Vessel is another name that deserves recognition as the Australian native continues to strengthen his unique production style and raw vocals.

Golden Vessel, aka Max Byrne is working to redefine genre and pave his way towards success by simply doing what he loves. This is apparent through his music and he explains that it is important “to convey in my music everything I love about music. Whether it’s incorporating different genres into one song, or different processes and homages to different times”.
On October 14, the Brisbane based artist dropped his second album colt and it blew me away. colt boasts the lead singles - ‘midwest’, ‘littlebitwild (feat. Mallrat) and ‘that’s us’ (feat. The Nicholas & Rei So La) - making for a project that pushes positivity, chill beats, and distinct vocals. On the 11-track LP influences from Toro y Moi shine through subtly, making it perfect for an evening drive or a mellow afternoon.
With the release of the album, Golden Vessel also shared this message with fans: “my second album colt is out now! everything was made by me or closely with friends over the past 2 years and is self released via sumoclic! go jump in the car and put it on :)”
You heard the man! Go jump in the car and put it on!
