Honestly "All I Need" Right Now

Jacob Collier is known for doing it all, as he is a singer, arranger, composer, producer, and the 25-year old can also tear it up on several instruments. Collier fuses many different musical styles such as jazz, electronic, classical, gospel, and folk, to create his own unique sound. So, when it comes down to it the talented Brit will most likely have something that each and everyone will love, or we can at least just listen in awe of his self-taught brilliance.

Since releasing his first album In My Room back in 2016, Collier has worked with dozens of musicians ranging from Coldplay, to Daniel Caesar, and now to Mahalia and Ty Dolla $ign on his newest release “All I Need”. The single came out May 14 and the soulful grooviness of it has made it the song that I have on REPEAT at the moment. If I was to give you one song to listen to right now, it would be “All I Need”. It is fun, unique, beautiful, and it effortlessly fuses various sounds and genres.

Though the young protege has already won four Grammys, he is just getting started and is ready to transform Jazz as we know it. Collier is the artist that we need in 2020 because he is honest and creates complex music in a way that feels smooth and effortless. Keep an eye out for the young stud and the release of Djesse Vol. 3, which is planned to be released this summer.
