Flume: Adidas Ultraboost DNA
One of my longtime favorites, Flume has a modest yet also flashy way of doing things. He is undoubtedly an expensive and high end sneaker, but also one that can be worn in many different settings without drawing constant attention. This is why I decided that he is definitely the Adidas Ultraboost DNA, a fresh sneaker that is comfortable and we can all agree that they are pretty fresh.

Jorja Smith: Nike AF1 Sage
The 22-year old British singer does things in a soulful and beautiful manner, resonating powerfully through any room. This makes her one of the most appealing color ways of a very common sneaker, which brings a soft color to life. Jorja also helped Nike introduce the shoe to customers back in 2018, so I had to go with it.

Denzel Curry: Nike Air Max
Plus Miami Vice
My favorite rapper out there loves to rep his city, as seen on his Freshman XXL Cypher (University of Miami crewneck) and on the album cover for ZUU (Marlins Jersey). So, when thinking about what sneaker he would be I had to go with something that pays homage to his city. I was so close to going with the AF1 Miami Vice, but Denzel is too unique and unorthodox for a basic sneaker model.

BENEE: Adidas Stan Smith CF
The New Zealand pop singer just had to be velcro sneakers. This was undoubtedly the easiest one to decide on because BENEE feels basic at first (TikTok song "Supalonely”), but she really marches to the beat of her own drum and is extremely creative. I need to see BENEE wearing these kicks ASAP!!!

KAYTRANADA: Nike Cortez Desert Ore
I really thought I was going to go with Adidas for KAYTRANADA, but once I really thought about his musical and production style I flipped to Nike. I had to go with a classic sneaker that is FRESH in any year since it's original release in 1972, and designed by the great Bill Bowerman. Like this sneaker, KAYTRANADA's music never gets old and he will be relevant for a very long time.
