Sippin' Sundays: Genesis Owuso, marinelli, Videoclub, and Jelani Aryeh

“A Song About Fishing” & “Don’t Need You” - Genesis Owuso

Ghanaian-Australian artist Genesis Owuso’s debut album, Smiling with No Teeth, is an intriguing project that gets better and better with each listen. Initially the 15-track LP was difficult to get into, although strong moments in “A Song About Fishing” and “Don’t Need You” were gripping. These tracks are very different and effectively showcase Owusu’s unique vocals.

"OH GOD" - marinelli

"OH GOD" is the newest single from the LA based singer, songwriter, and producer marinelli. Formerly the drummer for Billie Eilish, he has since gone solo releasing a handful of moody bedroom pop singles over the past year. “OH GOD” is no exception, and may be his most raw and relatable song to date. We’re looking forward to the upcoming EP!

"Euphories" - Videoclub

The French synth pop duo Videoclub recently released their first full length album titled “Euphories”. The 80s themed album includes all their past singles along with plenty of new releases including the lead song “Euphories”, which is complete with heavy synth hits and a nostalgic 808 pattern. This song has a lot of energy and fun melodies popping in-and-out. The French lyrics give this track and the whole album an extra layer of cool.
