Soul Kings Lucky Daye and Leon Bridges Drop New Track "All About You"

Last Friday, Lucky Daye and Leon Bridges shared "All About You" and it is the R&B nostalgia that we all needed. Bridges said in a press statement that “For this song, we set out to bring back the energy of some of the ‘90s R&B greats we grew up listening to,” and this is exactly what the duo was able to accomplish.

The track was produced by Ricky Reed, who has worked with Bridges in the past and holds production credits on his 2018 album Good Thing. Reed was able to witness the instant connection between the two stars after Lucky pulled up to the studio randomly. Reed and Bridges weren't even necessarily planning on making a song that day, but Lucky started throwing down some heat and the track progressed from there.

These two singers, that are now friends, will hopefully collaborate more in the near future and give us some more heat. Daye released his debut album Painted last may and some singles this year, while Bridges has released a few singles this year and a 4-track project with Khruangbin. Keep an eye on both of these R&B kings as they continue to grow and impress us even more.
